Aaron Stanton

Aaron Stanton was born in Aug 14, 1840 in Traveler's Rest, Mississippi, to parents David and Anne Elizabeth (neé Winston) Stanton.
On Oct 12, 1865 in Natchez, Mississippi, he married Elizabeth Elmina "Ella" Brandon.
Ella and Aaron had four children: Charlotte Brandon Stanton, Anna Winston Stanton, Agnes Stanton, and David Brandon Stanton. In 1880, the ages of Ella's children were Charlotte (13), Anna (12), Agnes (10), and David (7).
Aaron Stanton died Dec 31, 1917 and is buried, along with his wife, Ella Brandon Stanton (d. 1900), in Natchez City Cemetery in Natchez, Mississippi. A memorial is engraved into Aaron's headstone for their son, David Stanton, who died and is buried in Batopilas, Mexico (d. 1894).
